Our most significant reference is the work of Cícero Dias, one of the most expressive Brazilian modernist painters. He built his career in Paris and conquered the art world with his works. Our space also has the artistic influence of Parisian stained glass artisan Marianne Peretti, the only woman to be part of the team responsible for the construction of Brasília, Brazil’s capital and a global modernist landmark. Picasso, a great friend of Cícero Dias, leaves his mark of universality with a work on display at our entrance.
All the art on display was carefully selected over a quarter of a century by the collector and co-founder of Cícero Bistrot, Paulo Dalla Nora Macêdo. This artistic ensemble and passion for aesthetics finally found the opportunity at Cicero Bistrot to share this private collection and inspire more people.
Our co-founder, Ana Carolina Silva, a graduate of the Estoril Hotel and Tourism School in Portugal, is responsible for stimulating the dialogue between our art collection and the gastronomic offering. During the season, Ana had the opportunity to expand her sensitivity at Alessandra Montagne’s Nosso restaurant in Paris.
